SEO Content That Actually Earns Its Ranking
Most pages that fail in search do not fail technically. They fail because nobody needed them.

Start with the question, not the keyword
A keyword is a compressed question. Before I open a research tool I write the question out in full, in the words a person would actually use, and then check whether the page I am planning answers it in the first screen.
A working checklist
- One clear intent per URL — no hybrid pages trying to rank for everything.
- Headings that read like a table of contents, not like keyword slots.
- Internal links placed where a reader would genuinely want them.
- Structured data that describes what the page really is.
Optimisation is what you do after the content deserves to exist.
Measuring the right thing
Position is a lagging indicator. I watch impressions on the queries I intended to serve, then scroll depth and returning readers. If those move, ranking usually follows on its own schedule.
